Project Description
Rexburg Rapids is located at 50 West 2nd North and includes two three-story water slides, a rock wall for climbing, a heated pool including a 3-lane lap pool, a 388 feet long lazy river, a beach front entry pool, and a children’s water playground. Rexburg Rapids was competed in 2011.

Construction costs of the Rexburg Rapids and adjacent fields and parking totaled $6.6 million.
Results
- $5.3 million were injected into local economy by the time the Rexburg Rapids facilities were completed.
- This project created many jobs for local construction contractors which was beneficial to a less than stellar construction economy in the Snake River valley.
- 70 part-time jobs created for community youth to work at the facility during Summer months.
- 60% of the people coming to the park are from outside of Madison County, due to license plate counts during the Summer
