South Yellowstone Highway Widening

The Rexburg URA helped fund the widening of South Yellowstone Highway which helped facilitate the the private investment in the Marriott Hotel.

The agency paid about $45,000 for widening of the South Yellowstone Highway along the Marriott Hotel that would normally be paid by the west-side property owner, which is Eastern Idaho Railroad, who does not participate in road widening. The Agency reimbursed the property owner for this as they paid their taxes.
