Meeting Minutes- March 22, 2018
Rexburg, Idaho
Attendance
Members: Richard Horner, Traci Peterson, Joseph West, Brad Wolfe, Randall Porter, Doug Hancey, Robert Chambers
Visitors: Brad Reed from Rudd and Co., Golden Tawzer, Mett Nielson and Craig Rindlisbacher of the city council.
Administrative Support: Katie Cook
Chairman Richard Horner called the meeting to order around 12:00PM
Welcome
Approval of Minutes
Joseph West made a motion to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. The motion was seconded by Randall Porter and passed unanimously.
Approval of Invoices
The only invoices were normal on-going payments which did not need to be approved by the board.
Review of Financial Status
Golden Tawzer presented the financial status for all the districts in the Rexburg Redevelopment Agency. Everything is in order and the forecasts appear to be consistent and able to fund all the district projects.
Annual Report and Public Hearing
Richard Horner read the public hearing script for the Annual Report. Katie Cook reviewed the 2017 Annual Report which was sent to the board members prior to the meeting. The 2017 Annual Report can be found filed with the meeting minutes. Chairman Richard Horner asked for any questions or comments on the report first from the board and then from anyone of the public in the audience. No other comments were made, and Richard Horner closed the Public Hearing. Brad Wolfe made a motion to approve the 2017 Annual Report, Joseph West seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Richard Horner then read Resolution No. 2018-01 and asked for a motion to approve and adopt the Annual Report Resolution No. 2018-01. Randall Porter made a motion to approve and adopt the Annual Report Resolution No. 2018-01, Traci Peterson seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
FY 2017 Audit Report
Brad Reed from Rudd & Company presented the 2017 Audit to the Rexburg URA which can be found filed with the meeting minutes. The audit came back with a clean, unmodified report meaning no deficiencies were found. The cost of the audit was $4,000.00. Brad Wolfe made a motion to approve the 2017 Audit, Joseph West seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
